d)Exemption through certification tuition fees paid
a)Payment by (digital) authorisation in twelve instalments
Payment by authorisation in twelve instalments is possible for everyone with a Dutch bank account. When debiting in 12 instalments the fees will be debited from September till August, around the 25th of the month. The first instalment will be raised by € 24.00 administration costs.
In Studielink it is possible to arrange the payment by authorisation of your tuition fee. To be able to use the digital authorisation you need to have DigiD and a Dutch bank account. In case someone else signs for the authorisation, this person also has to have DigiD and a Dutch bank account.
If you want to pay your tuition fees by authorisation but you do not meet the requirements necessary for the digital authorisation you choose in Studielink ‘single transfer’. You also send an e-mail to CSA@utwente.nl and in this e-mail you need to request for an authorisation form. Please do not forget to mention your student number in this e-mail. The Central Student Administration will send you an authorisation form. You fill out this form completely and after signing this form you sent it to Central Student Administration or hand it in at the desk Student Services.
Please note!
For impossible payments by authorisation in twelve instalments:
1st time “instalment failure”:
If an instalment is not possible to collect (because of deficit) the next the outstanding debts and the instalments of that month will be debited from your account.
2nd time “instalment failure”:
If an instalment is not possible to collect for a second time, the overdue tuition fees have to be paid in 5 days. If you still failed to fulfill your financial obligations Central Student Administration will de-enrol you at the University of Twente.
Alternative payment schedules will not be considered.
