- 南安普顿大学（University of Southampton）建校与1862年，是英国常青藤大学，以及红砖大学，罗素大学集团成员，世界百强名校。大学位于英国南部沿海地区城市南安普顿，距离伦敦大约80英里 ，一个小时的车程，距离希思罗机场大约需要一小时路程。2012年Times英国大学排名第18位，
南安普顿大学本校设有本科预科，分为三个方向：
1. Law, Arts, Management and the Social Sciences 法律、管理、艺术和社会科学方向

科学方向的预科读完之后可衔接下列专业：
生物科学、化学、土木工程与环境、海洋与地球科学
入学要求：
高中毕业，平均分80分以上，雅思5.5分，写作5.5分，入读时必须提供高中毕业证；
工程、物理和地理方向的本科预科以及科学方向的本科预科申请时需要通过UCAS。
